For those not familiar with NDH’s TT races these are the perfect starter race for those who have always fancied a go at racing without having to worry about line choices or hard technical pieces of track its also a good day hanging out with your mates and it was good to see CHR had a few members taking part in last weekends event…some of these competing for the first time.
The weather was kind once again last Sunday and over 40 club members took part in another great timing day…….congratulations to James Purvis for setting the fastest time on his hardtail……all times are posted on the forum. Next date is Sun 20th Apr.
Dates for these are now up on the club info page, due to increased membership these will be members only for 2014.

Yesterdays timing day was a great success, the weather held, the track was fun and everyone seemed to have a good days riding…….all times are now posted in the forum…….next date is Sun 2nd Feb.
Unfortunately its that time of year again and memberships are now due, new members just go to the club info page on here and click on the link, existing members should have had a renewal link emailed through in the last couple of days.

Woa…must be a lot of winter riders oop north…Winter timing day 1 on 5th Jan is almost full……just 2 or 3 spaces left for 2013 annual members, a full list of names down to ride can be found in the downhill section of the forum.
We now have our dates confirmed with FC for our winter timing days at Wooler Common. These will be Sunday 5th Jan (2013 & 2014 membership) and Sunday 2nd Feb (2014 membership)…….fair weather riders need not apply ; )
We had a great mornings ride at Thrunton woods for our club end of season xc outing on Saturday around 25 of us took to the trails, then back to Rothbury for soup, sandwiches and a pint. Maybe its something we can look at doing every couple of months throughout the year.
