For those of you who didnt already know……..Descent World is back, the original go to website for all things UK mountain biking has done a article about what we do here in sleepy Northumberland. Click on the link and have a read. HERE
Is it just me or is there not much better than to watch than someone smashing a trail in the wet!
We had a superb days racing for our annual ‘King Of The Hill’ club champs which ended with Ben Hall retaining his title for another year, albeit by less than 1 sec from Joe Mallen.
Race season is finally here again…after what seems like an endless Winter the first big race of the season arrived….round 1 of the Scottish Enduro Series at Innerliethen was a beast with 5000ft of climbing over 17 miles and 5 stages that took in some of the steepest and most physical trails on the hill. A good turn out of CHR riders where competing and results are now up on Roots and Rain. Next up for some of the team is Scottish Downhill Association Rd1 also at Innerliethen at the end of March.
After a superb final Winter timing day last Sunday, we have now been given the OK for our Summer dates and they have been posted on the club info page.
Sorry!! Its that time of year again!! Just go to the club info page above and follow the link to renew.
Nothing religious here, just cracking vid that will make you want to go ride your bike!! And looking at it we have trails pretty much similar to every segment here in Northumberland and the Borders!
Good turn out and great craic for our Christmas/Solstice night ride last night…..trails were prime as well…bonus!! Next up is the second of our winter timing days on Sun 4th Jan, names now being taken.
